Anyone from Cyprus? Accommodation Tips Needed

Hope someone here can help me - I'm interested in visiting and exploring Nicosia/Lefkosia/Lefkosa and am looking for cheapish accommodation - hotel or apartment.

My idea is to stay a few days (up to a week) on both sides of the Green Line. I've already had a look at the usual hotel sites but am looking for any thing below the radar of the usual travel websites.

Hi there, i am from Cyprus too, the Greek part, but i live in Limassoll.

You can stay in Holiday Inn in Nicosia, which is in the old city and near Lydra, where you can pass to the Turkish part of the city.

Have a great time in Cyprus and visit Limassoll too!

Thanks for the information...I have booked into the Centrum Hotel in Lefkosia but am still looking for cheaper options, eg private apartments.
