Some LX3 photos...

Color was shot on ISO 200 & bw on 400...
Love the f2 lens + O.I.S. + decent IQ for iso400. Haven't printed anything yet so I've no idea on actual printed IQ... still getting used to the 16:9 format (I've mostly used it on 3:2) & trying to figure out how to best compose with something so wide. No PP on colored & just channel mixer + curves on bw. There's much more shadow detail on the bw photos which the curve got rid of.
It's nice to have a compact with a good, to my eyes, iso 400 capability. Can't wait to see how a print looks like...

They look promising....but you've uploaded them so small!

I like the street artist picture the best... has a 'story' to it.

I'd like to see how the camera does with low light. Post some when you get them.. thanks.

Steve & Jamie:
iso 800 with NR @ -2 (lowest setting), f2.0 A-priority, exp comp @ -2/3, shot jpg. The image has a criss-cross like pattern and some detail is lost, but this is a jpeg not raw. I've yet to play with the raw files...

I'm digging the wide format too! Unfortunately I have an insane week at work and haven't been able to go out a-streeting. Soon I hope.

Two points:
1) For a small sensor camera, that's really pretty darn good.
2) "Grain is beautiful. Noise is ugly."

Would you mind if I printed this to see what that's like?

Steve,
File is yours... do what you want with it. I'm guessing you'll run some NR on it... I'd like to see the result of that as I don't have a NR software.
Anyways do as you wish...
