First forgive me my clumpsy descriptions below, its simply a product of not having the precise vocabulatory on the rangefinder matter >> greenhorn.
My R-D1 works flawlessly with a summicron 28mm. However mounting my 50mm summicron gives a certain oneven resistence when focusing, clearly more so in the long end, and allmost (or completeley) gone when focusing close. This is coupled with the rangefinder screens "jumping", and in effect impossible to "melt together".
The 50mm works smoothly and with no problems when no camera is mountet.
The obviously guess is a mecanically misaliance between the two, much to my surprise. Having checked beforehand at http://www.richcutler.co.uk/r-d1/r-d1_11.htm
- and reading like a maniac on the net - this problem came as a surprise.
Any good advice or comments from you good people? Can it be fixed (easely) by a repair facility?
