Nice photos! I like how Sepia looks here. So, does RD1 have a "Sepia" mode or did you do it afterwards in PS?

Lovely shots. I like the flashlight in #3 particularly. Digital does the low-light shooting so much better than film.

John, those are simply beautiful. I love the sepia tone look and especially like #1 and #3.
Which is your favorite lens to shoot with on the RD1? I have a 50mm summilux which I really like but I'm also liking what I see with that 40 1.4 nokton too.
Also, I'm really new to posting on the site. Could you tell me how you are able to place your photos in the actual post rather than putting them in as attachments.
I also enjoyed your RD1 at night pics too. The portraits are great. I look forward to seeing more of your stuff !!!

This might help :

As for the Sepia look, it is an option in Epson raw as you can't shoot it directly in the camera. Personally I find the Sepia look very difficult to use in the correct situation to enhance the picture. Therefore I stick with B&W or color. The images above are nice though.

Thanks for the kind words. I think Yanidel has answered the sepia question. When I use Epson Raw I always have a quick look at the sepia option. Quite often, I find it works well - especially with portraiture. I think the old build suited it well.
N2film, if you haven't guessed already, my favourite lens is the CV 40/1.4 - Sharp and fast I also like the contrast as well.
One or two more,
Cheers - John

wonderful shots, John! i'm not normally a fan of sepia, but it works really well here. i am especially drawn to the windows. there is something about the sepia that brings out the sadness and loss of the past...
