One new innovation in the camera world of the last few years is the infrared dslr. It is a regular dslr which has had the IR cut filter removed from in front of the sensor, and replaced with a IR pass filter, such as a Wratten 89B. This type of camera has become enormously popular. For a few hundred dollars there are a number of companies that will convert a various digital cameras to shoot infrared, or it can be done as a diy project.

Here is a tourist type snapshot I took with my converted Nikon D70, which a friend made for me:

Obrecht, JeffGreene, marduk - wow! But I like most of the stuff in here, RFF Galleries are impressive.

I haven't been shooting much SLR lately, MF gets too cumbersome - those OM's look beautifuly though, I might get one of those.

You click on your attachment to get the image, then edit your post to show the larger picture. I think you still have to leave the attachment.

Here's your pic enlarged:

(Nice pic, by the way...)

Lots of great shots in this thread. Great to see what people are doing. Let's keep this going!

Canon Elan 7, 50mm f/1.4 (I think), and I believe Portra 160VC
