Thanks. The foal was using a setting I often use for outdoor forest type shots. It ups the exposure slightly and increases the contrast. There's a tiny bit of sharpening and added vibrancy and black clipping. On this one I think I used a little fill light too because I wanted to be able to see his eye which was in shadow.

The chair was cross processed in Lightroom, I'm not sure what it did but quite like the look. 99% of the time I just use my normal B+W conversion but variety is the spice of life!

I'm happy to say that I took possession of an R-D1s on Thursday this week. I'm used to shooting with an SLR so its been quite a learning curve for me. I just wanted to share a few shots that I've shot over the last couple of days.

These are all shot with a Nokton 40mm f1.4.

I've added them as attachments as for some reasons it won't seem to use the flickr URL to just put them on the page.

I set the iso 1600 and set the EV to -2,
which was around 1/15s
Aperture was f1.2
