Looks like a film M to me as you can just make out the rewind knob next to his eye

Yeah, judging by the rewind knob and the shutter speed knob, I'd say it's an M7.

But this is a thread with the word "Leica" in it. Let the bashing begin...

Yeah, those M7s are crap. I'd rather have a Zorki! Just think of the money you could use for film and other stuff.

Only RFF's would focus on the camera and rewind knob in that photo.

I agree Gabriel, hating Leica is totally in right now on this site. Constant digs even when not related to the topic. Fanboys or haters, it gets tiring with too much of either.

Not with me..the exact opposite in fact: I am gassing to get my hands on my first leica camera.

Seal is coming to perform in my home city this Autumn. If he's not using his M8 much these days, maybe he'd like to pass it on to me at a special price for a fellow RFFer

yeah, its probably only just come back from the service centre after coming out of the factory all wrong. In fact its probably an M3 cos nothing produced by Leica since then is any good. Dunno why Heidi is even posing as the shots probably wont come out due to the film not being wound on properly.

What are you folks talking about the camera for?

If I'm going to envy our old friend Charlie for anything, it's the live-in model.

Cheers,
