Trying to find GSW690 III

I'm pretty new here, been lurking for quite some time. I have been looking for a good deal on a GSW690 III for some time now. There aren't any locally that I have been able to find. And yes I've searched the bay, KEH, & Adorama. I'm currently a student trying to buy as many cameras as a student budget will allow.

If anybody knows of somewhere else I could look for one please let me know.

I've currently got several Mamiya 645 bodies w/ lenses, RB67 with lenses and a Canon 5d but I feel like I'm still missing something (or that may also be what they call an addiction)

You have to repeatedly search all possible vendors/auction sites. I have one and the negatives are beautiful. The camera is easy to use, sometimes i wish it had a light meter built in. I have seen the 690III for sale 3x in the past 3 weeks.

For metering I use the VC Meter II on the hotshoe of my GW690III - tiny on the big camera and works great.

At the bottom of Colucci's page there is a continuously updated list of these cameras on eBay. I don't see the GSW that often. Only you know what a "good deal" means to you, but expect to pay over $1000 for a user and well over $1,500 for one with a low shot count.

I have one, and my friend who has a photo website and does the shows, tells me he has a ready home for it anytime. Have you checked the shows?

Terrific, well made camera, made one of my gallery shots with it. Bit hard to get printed, but the Coolscan 9000 will take it.

Check the counter number for the number of activations.

Bodies should be in good shape, they are durable.

I saw one somewhere with a dent in the lens hood, I dented mine, Fuji charged $90 to replace it and go over the camera.
