My Tenax II Shot To Be Published

I'm beginning to warm to this whole "Internet" fad. Per my participation in Flickr, the photo site/community that evidently counts a photo editor for the Washington Post among its members, 1 of my Tenax II pix (http://www.flickr.com/photos/furcafe/9457551) is going to be in an upcoming issue of the Post's Sunday magazine (May 22nd for any DC-area folks who want to check out the hard copy).

Its "Foton" will take five 35-mm. pictures a second, sell for $700. Bell & Howell, which has found that "families of both low and high incomes now spend over $550" for movie equipment, hopes to sell 20,000 Fotons a year.

Nice shot! You really did put that Zeiss lense to good use.

As for the Internet - I think it's just a passing fad.

Thanks all.

snaggs: I like Flickr's web interface & features. It's also oriented more towards sharing of photos via an on-line community (an improvement over fotolog.net, which is where many flickrites migrated from) & less photo-nerdy than pbase, & hence better suited for 'blogging.

I've had no other reported problems w/the link. Perhaps the Flickr server was having issues @ the time you clicked. I've attached a small version here.

For those who don't get the hard copy, Keith Jenkins, the Post's photo editor & father of Blog City, has a post on his blog that shows what it looks like:
