Well I did it.

Picked up Canon 7 with a 50 1.8. Both the viewfinder and lens look great with no haze and the rangefinder patch is easy to see. Everything works as it should. Just a few bright marks on the camera body here and there but nothing outrageous. I was thinking of a more modern camera but the build and feel of this one will keep me pleased. (I think.) :0 Any tips would be appreciated and I'm also wondering if anyone has used the 35/1.7 ASPH Ultron on this camera? I see much better with a 35 than a 50.

Thank,
Mike

I use a CV 35 Ultron on a Canon 7, and find that this combination balances and handles very well. The lens does not intrude much into the 35mm framelines on the 7. I've been pleased w/ the results from this lens so far (it's a recent acquisition) and there are a number of members here who have taken fantastic photos w/ it.

Good to Know Bingley. God knows I can't afford anything that says Leica on it.
