Minolta 16

I was recently gifted at sub-miniature MINOLTA 16 camera.

It's in full working order as far as I can tell and am wondering about the value of such an item in the collectible market but also whether it's worth keeping for my personal collection and perhaps even using.

From what I can see it takes 110 cannisters but not knowing much about this camera I can't be sure about much at all.

The lady that gave me it said she had owned it for 30+ plus years and she mentioned that she shot some wonderful images with it and that she at one time owned a miniature slide projector to go with it.

If anybody is interested, I can post some shots of it?

It's not 110 but a Minolta-unique 16mm cassette, reloadable but VERY hard to find nowadays. I bought one new ($28 in the PX 1967 or so) and got good results -- but it's a bit like hard work. You really need the lens set for focusing, too. I still have one somewhere.

Value is next to nothing. The lens set is probably worth more than the camera, for the few who do want to use them.

Cheers,

R.
