Is it worth it? 35mm Summicron ASPH blk paint

I need a little help deciding if I should buy a used lens that I found at a local dealer. I am a black paint fan, my preference. I found a 35mm Summicron ASPH black paint with some paint loss for $2k even. I am wondering if this is a good price for this lens. I desire the compactness of the summicron. It would complement my M6 ttl LHSA blk paint perfectly.

So, am I being crazy because this lens looks perfect with my camera? Or am I being crazy for NOT jumping on this lens right away?

I appreiate all your help rff friends,

I actually like that the lens has some paint loss. My camera isn't in perfect condition, some brassing and such. I also really like the feel of the lens weight wise. It is brass construction and nearly as heavy as the 35 f1.2 Nokton I tried right afterwards! I wish I had a digital on me at the shop so I could show you how nice it looked. Unfortunately the shop wont budge on the price, I asked for 1900 and I'd buy then and there but they said no, so I left saying I had to think.

As long as the glass is perfect, US$2,000 seems like a reasonable price for a BP 35mm Asph Summicron. The barrel is going to wear eventually (if you're using it) anyway.

You can get a brand spanking new one from arsenal-photo.hk for HK$19,000 (about 2,400 USD?), with hood, warranty etc.

I had one, I sold it, I regret it . It is very nice
