Welcome, and BTW: what is Kiev 4A-1, 4B-2 ?

AFAIK there are Kiev 4 (w/ meter) and 4a (w/o meter), type 1 and type 2 usually refers to leather/leatherette and metal/metal+plastic self-timer lever.

When you log in in the form on the up right part of the page, there is a little check-box "keep me signed in". This saves a cookie on your computer to identify you whenever you come back so you needn't log in when you come here next time. If you have cookies disabled in your browser that might be why it logs you out.

Are you, by any chance, a man of wealth and taste?

He must be, Kevin, if he's into rangefinder cameras. In fact, we're all men of wealth and good taste here!

And he's been lurking around here for many a long year, I'd bet...

So, let's show some sympathy.

Thanks Spyderman and to all the rest of you folks.... And to answer Kevin M's question - Yes and Yes. I like fine wine, woman and cheap expensive looking cameras!!!!!! and FSU cameras fit the bill!!!! even when they don't work!!!!!!! and to be perfectly honest I have/had my fair share of expensive cameras- Bronicas, Mamiyas, Leicas and all those other expensive sounding cameras and when theiy break, the only difference betwieen them and the cheapy FSU cameras is they make much more expensive paper weights than the FSU cameras!!! and they cost a lot more to fix too!!!! All the Best - Michael
