RF adjustment - to tune or not to tune?

I have a Zorki 4K and the RF is a tad out at close focusing. At 1m (measured) the focusing ring shows around 1.1m and same thing at 2m - around 10% out. I have read the stuff on this forum about tuning the RF by rotating the cam, but before I set to with a pair of pliers (and my two left hands) am I worrying about nothing ? Do the members hereabouts think this is an acceptable discrepancy? Thanks.

In the first roll I exposed in my Zorki 1C, focus was off in the near distance frames. I sighted the moon and adjusted the R/F, and the camera has behaved well since.

Simon, I would say 10cm at 1m is way off.

I always tune my cameras as good as it gets. Usually so that on 50mm lens the 1m mark is within DOF at f2.

Fine tuning the RF is an iterative process. First calibrate infinity, then the close focus, then infinity again etc. until you're satisfied with it.
Move the "RF sensor" little at a time. Almost so little you won't notice it's moved. Be warned that if you push too much, it will do a kind of quantum leap, and you can start over again.
