Iloca II

At this point I'm perplexed. I have been trying to figure out how to remove the front lens element from an Iloca II so I can clean the shutter blades. I have an Iloca I and it simply unscrews counter clockwise. When I tried the II it didn't budge. I tried clockwise and it also didn't move. When I applied more pressure with a padded set of pliers the front ring apparently broke loose but now spins freely and will not come off.

Has anyone had any experience with this camera and can tell me the trick?

Regards,

George
