Servicing a QL17 GIII in Canberra/Sydney

Hi, I'm new to RFs and recently acquired a Canon QL17 GIII. It seems to be in good condition, apart from the lens looking a bit grimy and possibly having some fungus (?) on it and the light seals needing to be replaced. I'm not confident about fixing this myself and was hoping for some recommendations for someone to service it in Canberra/Sydney. I did use the search function but didn't come up with much apart from the Camera Service Centre in Sydney.

Any other suggestions or experiences?

Hi Azubu,

I'm sure there are plenty of great places in Sydney or Canberra but if you get stuck, I am just about to send my GIII to F16 camera repairs in Brisbane. The guy sounded nice and was certainly familiar with the Canonets. He quoted around $100 for a CLA with the battery adjustment which seemed fairly reasonable to me. I bought one on ebay a few weeks ago that was apparently in "very good working order" but it arrived a lemon... I just love the feel of the camera though, so reckon it's worth spending some buck on it. I actually prefer the handling over the Leica CL that I had some time ago (although I do miss that sweet Summicron C lens).

F16 phone number is 07 32841588.

Camera Service Centre quoted me AUD200 to repair the light seals, battery adjustment and and to clean the lens.
