Kodak HIE Film....Any Left?

I used to shoot this and I know it's been discontinued. Anyone know if there is any left anywhere? Just love the stuff and will post some past pics soon.

Try local shops. I found 3 rolls hidden in my shop's freezer last week!

When I tacked six rolls onto an order from B&H well over a month ago, I got four -- one from the store and three from the Navy Yard warehouse. Or maybe it was the other way around.

I have 8 rolls left of 120 HIE (cut down from 70mm Kodak Aerographic 2424, same film actually) but they are in my freezer.

If you miss HIE in 35mm, it's a good thing you never shot it in MF. You would really cry at it's passing. 6x7 negs are where it really was spectacular.

Bob there is always the hint that someone has some of this left around.

I have never been able to get any despite following several leads. That's why I am a defender of my Mamiya 7 panorama adapter - I can stick a roll of HIE 35mm in it and at least get a wider neg (till my 35mm runs out at least)!

I shoot in an M7 and a 25 red filter. I set my asa at 200. I develop in HC 110 Dilution B. I will be posting some pics soon. I love it for architectural shots. I have never had a fog problem, but do change film in the dark and a changing bag.
