You can buy the Jupiters in Leica Thread Mount and use them with an LTM to M adapter. I've used a J-3 on my Leica CL with the adapter.

The 35mm J12 with bulbous rear element would mess with the meter danglia, right?

Cameraquest sells M adapters. I have two from www.fedka.com, marginally less expensive but excellent quality.

The J-8 (and J-3) are 50mm; J-9 is 85mm; and J-11 is 135mm.

The J-12 is 35mm, and will not work on a Leica CL- as stated, will jam the metering stick.

No, veraikon, the Fedka adapters do not come with M rear caps.
