In the meantime I have an Autocord and some OMs to throw up on the classifieds I think.
Congratulations!

I suffered from GAS attack recently, so I'm waiting now for the Rolleiflex 2.8C and HC Nikkor 50/2 LTM from the classifieds, also Gitzo G1228 MkII tripod should be delivered today. Ah, I've also ordered some books including BTZS and Black and White Photographic Printing Workshop.

Well the Leica is now officially missing since it left the US on the 18th of February. USPS has started an investigation. ....luckily the package was insured.

+1 on this being the first jealousy invoking post in memory. I know it's a sin, but still...

Enjoy it!

That sucks! But don't despair, US mail is by far the slow boat of this world's postal services. Parcels I send from here take four weeks or more to be delivered in the USA. While it usually takes only ONE day to leave Holland and six hours to fly over to the US, the rest of the trip apparently is still by pony express. I gather the reverse route is similar.

For $37 shipping, I wasn't exactly expecting them to take the dogsled route over the artic though

But never fear, I got some shots I took with BuzzardKid's IIIa under the scanner at the moment.

Just ordered a Contax G1 w/ Data back, contax strap, front/rear lens caps, and body cap. Already have the 45mm f/2 to go with it. It's supposed to get here Friday, just in time for a big event I will be photographing Saturday.

Enjoy it.. I miss mine. In '07 I traded my DSLR equipment for one... then sold it to save for a Leica MP. I miss the Contax and want to buy another one; the lenses just can't be beat. I hope to buy another G1 with G2 modification and the 35 and 90... IMO a great set up if you want auto functions. Don't let all the "hype" about autofocus inaccuracy bother you, run a few rolls through it, especially color transparency. Oh, and POST!

I have a beat up, user Certo Six on its way from Poland. Unfortunately it looks like it may not have left the country yet; a dangerous time as I'm liable to look for similar cameras in my eagerness for it to get here.

I'm going to bury myself in working on a coworkers OM1 instead. Really fascinating design.

Hopefully I should have it Friday so I'll be shooting a roll of either Acros 100 or Efke 25, depending on how I feel about the light on Saturday morning. Probably some scans on Monday evening to post?

I'm waiting for my first Leica lens to arrive: a dual-range Summicron (I intend getting an M3 at some point). I know exactly where it is. Customs as it's coming from the USA. Expecting an invoice soon

Waiting on my Leica R 90 Summicron lens. The first one I had was the earlier, made in Germany model. Great lens, but to me the later Canadian one is sharper and has a little better IQ. Yep, this will be my third R 90 Summicron to own. You can never buy or own too many of these
