I just was waiting on a nice looking Canonet, the original version, but now I am also waiting on a 3.5cm f/3.5 lens to go with my Minolta Super A rangefinder.

Leica M6!

So, like after less than a month after I discovered this place I am already waiting for my first RF camera: a black M6 Wetzlar.

Can't wait to have it.

And now I should look for an unexpensive 50mm to start with...

The return of my M7 from Solms. Bought this 3 year old in mint condition in mid December, but without even getting to frame 12, I knew something was amiss. The 1/250, 1/500 and 1/1000 shutter speeds were all firing at about 1/15th. The dealer (very helpful and apologetic) tells me that it will be as good as new. I hope he's right! At least Solms will give it a complete health check, but it does rather dent the confidence, does it not?!

Ok it's not very RF-centric, but I've got a Nikon 70-200mm f/2.8 in the mail....and given that it is the single most expensive lens I've ever bought, dying for it to get here.

So, this is an appropriate place to vent some excitement.

After being rangefinderless and filmless for the better part of a year and struggling to get along with merely a Nikon D700 and four lenses, I finally found a rangefinder combo I could afford to allow me that special feeling sometimes of making great art. Coming in the mail is . . . . ta, da . . . .

A Voigtlaender Bessa R2 and 35/2.5 Pancake II lens.

Does anyone have any film?

Waiting for a new yellow lizard (or something like that) covering for my Nikon S2 from Japan, a new split-image focusing screen to use manual focus lenses on my Canon 5D from China, and my FM3a from six blocks from my office(well it'll be not in the mail, it is at the repair shop, but the wait is equally stressing).

There's some 35mm Tri-X and Neopan 1600 slowly working its way through the postal system. More interestingly, a Trip Man Olympus Trip 35 is coming to help burn up the last of my Kodachrome 64.

Waiting for a CV Color Skopar 25/4 P from B&H. I'm looking forward to it even though I don't see a whole lot of discussion on the lens. I figured it must be so good that there isn't any need to ask about it.
