First roll off the Mercury II

Got my first roll off the Mercury II tonight. (Kodak BW400CN mostly wide open at f/2.7)

:P Why do I feel there was a "looks like crap, but hey..." before the rest of that

I got a 12 exposure roll in there now, shall see what its light at higher apertures later since most if not all of those above were 3.5 or wider.

I got my hands on another one (cleaner looking without the oxidation) that I plan to put in classified soon.

The close-up looks very nice. You should keep in mind that the lens is probably just a triplet. And if the shutter speeds are working quite well, that's great too. After all it's not a PEN F in terms of build quality, not all PENs have kept working, and even a PEN has no 1/1000s!
Havin such a rare camera still capable of taking pictures is great!
