Considering that looks like a plastic lens cap, I would think this is just a cheap knock off.

They also produced a gold K1000 and I haven't forgiven them for that either.

They produced 2000 kits with the LX 2000 and that lens for the Millenium. It was not sold seperately. It is metal construction and has a hood and lens cap similar the the 43mm Ltd. Otherwise, it is the same optically as the "A" version.
