Question Help Wanted on a Vivtar 35ES with sticky diafragm

hello all,

got a Vivitar 35ES with a stickey diafragm. I took the front lens set off (unscrew the retaining ring, remove lens covering plate with meter cell, tap retaining ring with front lens part lightly to get going and unscrew), and cleaned with lighter fluid. Does not seem to do the trick though...

Observation: when covering the meter cell, the lens should fully open, but it seems as though there isn't enough tension in the spring(s) to do so.

How should disassembly proceed to check the condition of the spring(s)?

Any catches here? I do not want to wind up with a jumble of loose parts, you see...

Advice with pictures most appreciated!

Cheers,

Johan
