Anyone want a roll of 120 Ilford Delta 3200?

Hi folks,

I mistakenly bought a roll of 120 Delta 3200 whilst ordering some now stocks.

I meant to buy it in 35mm format not 120 as my Fuji GS645 oly goes up to 1600. Besides I don't reallt intend to shoot fast film in MF. Hence intending to buy in 35mm.

If anyone would like to do me a swap for a roll of (any make, colour or B&W) fast 35mm film that would be ace. Failing that it's free to a good home

Bob.

Bob, why don't you shoot it at 1600 or 800? I have read that the actual rating of this film is more like 1250.

Hi Mitch: Good point. I did think about this, but I tend to like my MF real smooth hence why I generally shoot at 100 and favour a tripod over fast film.

I really just want to use the fast stuff in my 35mm Hexar which is a camera much better suited to running around with.

Raid: thanks for the offer! PM sent.

Raid's location makes it kinda impractical to send the film cost effectively.

Anyone in the UK want some fast 120 film?

How fast is fast? Would you accept a swap for some 35mm 400 speed film?

Hi Clarence,

I was hoping for something 1600 up, but if nobody else turns up with anything I'd gladly do you a swap.

Bob.

Perhaps we should have a film swapping thread. It would be much more efficient than posting WTT ads in the classifieds.

Personally, I'm looking for more 35mm black and white film rated 400 or higher. I want to get rid of all my 35mm and 120 C41 colour and slide film.

You're right Clarence; a film swapping thread would be a good idea.

I wish I'd come on here before I splashed out and bought a load 120 film!

I could do with some more 35mm colour film actually - let me know what you've got and how much you'd want for it.

Bob.

There exsits a film swapping permanent thread on nelsonfoto.com. It is very practical to do.

Cheers Raid, I'll have a look.

It looks like me and Clarence are doing a deal. Although GAS has kicked in and it now involves a couple of cameras too!

Hi Bob... if that deal doesn't go ahead I'd be happy to do a straightforward swap, Delta 3200 120 for Delta 3200 35mm. Have a couple of rolls, dated July last year but been in the freezer since well before that. Would be happy to swap for 120 and have a bit of fun with my new Pentax 67 (sorry for mentioning a non-RF)

clarence: do you happen to have kodak e100sw or e100gx in either 35mm or 120 format, that you want to "get rid of"? i'd be VERY MUCH interested.
