The genius of Photography starts on BBC4 this Thursday coming (25th October)

A 6 Part series covering styles and history.

The first serious TV programme dedicated to the finest artform.

Also the Guardian on Saturday 27th has a special supplement to compliment the series.

Briefly reviewed in the Times today as well - looks like it might be well worth watching.

Nice to see the beeb producing something worth watching - not bad for the 2Bn pounds (4 Billion dollars) it costs in tax each year...

Dont worry, TV shows have an international market, it'll be shown in the US soon enough...

usually these days its endless cookery shows,property shows or repeats. Oh how the mighty have fallen!!!
