I have a beautiful black QL17 (bought it in Japan in 1979) that was CLA'd by a well-known repair person. Trouble is, there is grease on the shutter blades, with predictable results. I won't send it back to this person (a third time) because he failed to fix the uneven film advance, the reason for the CLA in the first place.
I can live with the uneven film-advance problem (sort of) but the grease problem makes the camera inoperative. Any suggestions?
Dunno where you are, but there are some reputable repair facilities around. Here in the Metropolitan NY area, Essex Camera is a good choice. They take a while, but seem to produce good results.
