Quotes about Leicas

In doing research for a story I am writing about Lecia and the new CEO, I came across this quote by HCB:

"I went to Marseille. A small allowance enabled me to get along, and I worked with enjoyment. I had just discovered the Leica. It became the extension of my eye, and I have never been separated from it since I found it."

I was wondering if you guys knew of some other good quotes by famous photogs about Leicas. Lemme know...

I always thought this by Erwin Puts (sp?) was very pertinent

“Certain Leitz optics are so incredible that only the most psychotically talented will make imagery good enough to transcend (the) earth shattering look of them.”

for me anyway

You have to realize that Leica was the most modern thing out there at that time.

I am 100,000,000% positive that today, the word Leica would have to be replaced by the word "Canon 1D whateversomething Mark" or "Nikon D2X or D3".

I read a lot of things about Puts and his crazy love for Leica glass... but now I understand why he's being called an idiot very often in these forums.

His earlier quotes about Leica being like a cat are very illuminating.
