Graphics Tablet--choices?

I'm considering getting a graphics tablet and wonder if anyone here is using one and which one?
I've seen Wacom but don't recall any other brand; are there others?
The smallest ones aren't too expensive but are the bigger ones worth the extra $ ?
Any suggestions/advice appreciated!
Rob

I use the Wacon Intuos 3 (6"x8") with a G5 Mac and 23" screen-- the Wacom is worth its weight in gold.

The mulit function mouse is great when you assign Expose' functions to the buttons
and the digital pen is invaluable in Photoshop and Illutrator.

You'll never go back.

I use a Wacom intous 2, 6x8.

I personally find the 4x5 size too cramped, but if you're not doing this hardcore or for a living, you can probably get away with the reduced pressure level sensitivity of the Graphire (but I do recommend getting the 6x8)
