Reliability Minox 35 GT-S?

Hi all,

does anyone know if the Minox 35 GT-S suffers from the same shutter unreliability like the older models? Or are these problems just due to the age of the cameras? Currently I found a GT-S (silver) sold for 299 Euro (incl. flash, 269 Euro as demo unit) which is a lot less than the 449 to 469 Euro other sellers are asking.

Cheers
Thomas-Michael

The most recurrent trouble, with the Minox 35 series cameras, concern the magnet of the shutter. My firts Minox 35 GT, acquired in 1985 and now in the hand of my third brother, never was wrong, while my second Minox 35 GTE was repaired one time (now work perfectly).
Except this trouble, the Minox 35 are very excellent little "35 mm" cameras.
Ciao.
Vincenzo
