Nikon Rangefinder 50mm F1.4 Black Lens

A Tall order!!!!This is about Black and not Chrome Lenses. Tell us about the Black 50mm F1.4 Nikon Rangefinder Lenses, there differences, coatings, and which are the best for sharpness and contrast and use.

To finish off....I believe for sharpness and contrast the new Millenium Nikkor is unbeatable. Second to none....

There is no black LTM version, just the black aperture ring.

some are 50/1.4 S and some are 50/1.4 S.C . I am using the 50/1.4 S.

Yes it is.

The C following the Nikkor-S means the lens was coated, Nikon discontinued the practice in late 1950s
The lenses without the C are very late vintage.
