Elmarit 1:2.8/90 Clean & Service in UK?

Hi,
A while ago I inherited quite a bit of gear including an Elmarit 1:2.8/90.
The lens is quite dusty (between the elements as well) and I feel it could benefit from a good clean & service.
Can anyone recommend somewhere in the UK to do this for me & a rough idea of how much it will cost.
I have considered attempting to do it myself, but if this means it will be wrecked then I'd rather pay to have it done.

Thank you for this info. I have tried to email him ages ago, but to no avail - I think the email address was an old one.
He was actually a good friend of my step-dad's, from whom I inherited a lot of my camera gear.

Colin,

Malcolm is very good, but also very expensive. I would suggest CRR in Luton or, given where you live, Newton & Ellis in Liverpool.

Peter at CRR will do a superb job at a fair price. Newton & Ellis are good, but can be a little expensive (I think they sometimes farm the work out and add on a profit margin, bicbw). I always used to go to N&E for work on my Retinas and never had any complaint about the quality of work.
