Nikon F3 poll - black or chrome?

Don't worry, i'm not that stupid. Anyway, I don't know how to set up a poll.

One of my F3 bodies has snapped a film roller/guide/shaft at the cassette end of the camera. The needle roller helps the film on its way past the pressure plate. I had the film door open when I happened to turn the body upside down and the roller fell out onto the table. One of the ends that locates into a small hole either end had snapped off. What a weak camera -after 20 years a defect!! Outrageous

Where do you get another part? Or is that body now just a paperweight?

Try Nikon they may have the part or look to a cam repair man? dont know just wild guessess but I found nikon uk to be helpfull

Hold on, do not dispare, I bet this can be fixed. Get hold of Nikon direct. This year in Jan. 07, I had a full CLA, and fixed a circuit, and a new bottom plate because I dropped my F3hp. If Nikon does repair it, might as well get a full CLA on it, while it is opened up for surgery.
