When I sit back and think about it, this isn't terribly different from the way a lot of us work now – shoot, develop, scan – but how come it took longer to get my photos back from the corner drug store in the 60s? ("They can send a flying lab to the moon, but...")

(Yeah, I've been hanging out at Boeing's history section again...don't do this unless you've got at least an hour hour to kill. It's that good, and that addictive.)

That's pretty cool. I guess that was one of the first 'digital' still cameras in a way, and it even worked wirelessly!

I bet the cost of it would make the $4500 Canon mk3 and $1000 wireless transmitter look cheap, though...
