After using SLR and RFF cameras, I needed something new to exite me in photography. I bought a 180mm/5.5 Schneider MF or LF [?] lens! Then I searched in my mystery bag of adapters until I found the right set-up to get fousing just right for portraits! I used a Canon FD camera with Pentacon 6-Canon FD adapter, followed by some taping of the lens in place inside the adapter. This lens is quite sharp.

LOL!
ZI + Nokton? Naah, the ultimate low-light rig is the black Pen-FT and 42/1.2 H.Zuiko

I had sent my OM1n off to zuiko.com for repair, and it hasn't come back yet. I'm getting slr withdraw that my Leica RF cannot satisfy for lack of a mirror! So I thrashed around a bit until I found this little fix-er-upper:
Looks like it takes good pictures too:
(pardon my dust - hey! It's supposed to be a grunge photo!)

That was exactly my thought!
That's a sign I'm getting old, huh.

I've just returned from a carboot sale, having landed a functional Olympus OM-1, complete with a 50mm f/1.4, 28mm f/2.8, two extension tubes (Olympus own), and a couple of b+w filters (blue and yellow).
The woman seemed cautious about telling me the selling price... "Erm... well... is five pounds ok?"
No haggling was done, £5 was handed over without further questions.
om-1.jpg
Four problems. One is, no rewind crank. Another is, the UV filter seems to be jammed on. Another, the light-trap has died. Finally, the pig-ugly bag that currently holds all the equipment.
Hopefully the filter can be removed. I'm sure I can pick a rewind crank up off Ebay. Light-trap... plenty of advice has been seen on this forum... thanks for that. The bag... that's going to mysteriously vanish.

Thanks, your collection although not SLR's is very impressive. I have an old Canon IIB, but fiddling with the leader and loading is just more trouble than I care for.

The shutter may be broken beyond reasonable repair, but it makes a great conversation piece. Plus that Biometar works just fine.

Gordon:
Is the superwide providing fisheye effects? Just curious. I've been considering a 40 MM rollei, but the only ones I've seen are more than I wish to pay now.

The link has some Arsat 30 images. It's a full frame fisheye. Things get curvy although not as much, I think, as on my 17mm Pentax Super Takumer Fisheye. They go for $265 from Russia (with love) on eBay. I bought mine on eBay from a US seller for $157. Bargains can be had although even at $265 it's a bargain. Haven't got any film back yet. It's one big hunk of glass!

A Nikon F2 with a Nikkor 55/1.2, my third camera and first SLR. I carried this around in my backpack on rides and my commute to work. The weight of this guy was probably the main reason for switching to rangefinders.

I assume it's a Hassalblad mount. Liked your images with it.
