I did a little review here:
http://photo-utopia.blogspot.co.uk/2...up-lenses.html
I wouldn't be without my Rolleinar II
This is a I & II stacked and still to my eyes looks OK
The II on its own is nice for close head shots

Does anybody know how much a Rolleina 0.7 for the Tele goes for these days? Or is it better to just stack a 0.30 and a regular Rolleinar 1?
Thanks!

After reading this thread I really want to get a rolleinar 1. I'm just wondering how do you tell if the set is a meant to be three piece or two piece. That's the only thing I am wary of since I can't really tell if the sets on the auction site are complete or actually incomplete 2 pieces from a three piece set.

The piece for the viewing lens will be about double the thickness of the one for the taking lens, if it's a two-piece set.
It has to accommodate the same lens+prism as the three-piece set with the two parts screwed together.

Rolleinar 4
I bought my first Rolleicord Vb a month ago and I'm having a lot of of pleasure with film. Over the past weeks I added to my bag the Rolleinar 1 and 2 but, yesterday I got the -hard to find- Rolleinar 4 kit in mint condition.
I'll post some pics as soon as I start exploring deeper with this beauty.

I've been hunting for a reasonably priced Bay 2 Rolleinar 1, but nothing has appeared lately. I did come across the taking lens piece amongst some misc filters that had accumulated through various trades over the years, but still need the viewing prism/lens.
Anyone have one they are willing to unload?

Try looking on the KEH website - I got my Bay 3 Rolleinar 1 set there for a reasonable (for Rolleiflex accessories) price.

I have a bay 1 camera and all my rolleinars are meant to be 3 piece sets, except my rolleinar 1 is missing its Rolleipar. I think it's fairly common to find them incomplete like that.

I thought I got a real good deal on eBay. Rollinar 1 & Rolleinar 3 & hood for $26 plus shipping. But looking at the listing again it it seems to be a Rolleinar 1 viewing lens, and a Rollinar 3 taking lens, plus the hood. Sigh!
Oh well, $26 ain't too bad for the hood.
Now if I could find someone with an extra Bay-1 Rolleinar 1 taking lens who needs a Rolleinar 3 taking lens....

Here's a couple with my Rolleinar 1 of some mixed floral bouquets outside my local florist's shop.
Both shot with Fuji NPS 160.

I bought the cheapos and for the amount that I use them they are fine. One thing that I never knew about them is that you get a dreamer soft focus when you exceed the range of the close up lens. It is some thing like the Post Impressionist photography of the 20s.
