Minolta CLE + CV 40mm f1.4

A good combinartion.

Just added a new gallery of photos taken with my Minolta CLE. I picked it up second hand from MW classics for £225 which is a great price. A good travelling camera.

As it is coupled for 28/40and 90mm lenses I thought i would try the Voigtlander Nockton 40mm f1.4. It's a very nice lens I think. I used it often wide open or at f2 in this gallery to see how it would do, and I am impressed. This was my first film in a CLE, and first with the CV lens, so I am delighted so many came out OK.

It's a great combo - thanks for the photos.

The only annoyance is that the lens focuses a bit shorter than the camera (I mean in terms of minimum focus distance).
