Photo shops in HongKong and Osaka

Friends

I am going on a longer Asian trip in May/June with a longer stop in Hong-Kong and another longer stop in Osaka i Japan.

Anyone having good suggestions for camera shops worth visiting in those two places ??

I have a few suggestions for Hong Kong....
There are a lot of shops (second hand) in Champagne Court (opposite Miramar Shopping Centre, just off Kimberley Rd in Tsimshatsui, Kowloon. David Chan is one of the more reputable ones. Dick Chow is ok and there are a few others - second hand gear heaven.

Would also look at Tin Cheung Camera for new gear on Carnarvon Rd, also Tsimshatsui - five mins away. Both are close to MTR subway!

On HK Island side - you could head to the usual suspects on Stanley Street for a look see.

I've heard there are a couple of places in Mongkok but I've never tried...

Drop me a line if you need more info - or if you need a hotel (I work in one)

ygdragon.net has a brief, but decent listing of HK stores and also ballpark prices for new gear.

Champagne Court is really your best bet for used/classic gear, though. Not as many stores carry that sort of thing.
