m2 prices

Can anyone give me a hint about approximately what price range the M2 lies within in the United States (or elsewhere), assuming that it is serviced and in nice working condition?

I saw a few at a local dealer here in Sweden and I thought they seemed pretty affordable...

Usa M2 Pricing

The range seems to be 600 - 800 USD for an average to Good Body.

Button rewind, no self timer models can be had on the low end of the scale, but lever rewind, Self Timer, preview models are near the top.

Hope that helps!

Slainte,

Randy

OK, thanks! The ones I was looking at cost around 700 USD, so that seems to make sense

I picked up my M2 which was in need of repair, rewind gears blown, for $430 than spent $188 to get repaired and CLA'd. Aside from one small dent under the winde lever it is close to EX+ with a perfect VF/RF. It is from the first production batch, push/hold button rewind.

Check out this site http://www.leicashop.com/de/
they have good priced stuff, high quality and useually a to b condition. More expensive than ebay, but you know what you get. I rely fully on their judgement concerning cameras and lenses

Well, I must have been very lucky then. Last year I got my M2 with 50's cron DR for about 600 euros. That will be about 700 US now, I guess. All is in fine working order!
