Anti static cleaner for scanner

I use an Epson 4800 flatbed for scanning. There can't be anything in the world that attracts more dust! I clean the film, put it in the holder and start the scan immediately. I use the dust removal tool, but I still end up "spotting".
Does anyone know of an anti-static spray cleaner I can use on the glass of the scanner to give myself a little time before dust takes over?

Polishing an insulator (like) glass may be setting it to a high voltage, a magnet for dust particles, try a humdifier in area next to scanner area instead, like an indoor plant spray, then afterwards a wipe with rag soaked in meths (C2H5OH).

Dont smoke, or use nacked flame...

Ok

I give the negs (trans) a huff and puff from a rubber bubble (an air can is too risky)

P.S. moving may be the only real solution I used to get water marks until I moved to soft water area, no water marks any more...

I used Pledge with no adverse effects. On your head be it. I now use a dedicated film scanner, and don't miss that particular problem at all.

I suspect some spots are comming from my lab. c41 process takes (in my lab) exactly 15 minutes. The evil machine dryer is my suspicuos source for this. What do you think?

Loupe a negative if you have common spots with the scan it is the mini lab.

I have the same problem in c41 negs. My best guess is that the culprit are the hands of the operator. White gloves are even worse. Recently I decided to develop c41 film in bw chemistry where any fingertips or dust are made by me... with much better results in that respect.
