Thumbs up Bessa R3a & 40 1.4... mhh, lovely!

So I just got a bessa R3a, nokton 40 1.4 classic, ran a roll of Fp4 through it and developed it in that soupy stuff, kodak HC110... and I think I'm in love

loved the stylings and usage of the r3, this is indeed a great little camera.

here's the set: http://www.flickr.com/photos/ivanagu...7600077165417/

Ivan - beautiful tonality in the first, nice boke in the second shot. I don't get why some people complain about this lens. Love mine.

Wow. Beautiful imagery. Yeah the r3a and 40 were my first jump into rangefinders. I've been sticking with it ever since.

I wan using anywhere between 2.8 & 5.6... until the clouds rolled in, after that it was all 1.4 & 2.0. This lens is a dream, I might actually get another for my R-D1, super sharp on the R-D1.
