Wow... Really nice job photographing cameras, Melanie. I'm really green with envy here.

Heck... I want one! Which one's the best entry model into the Rollei mystique?

Great Jumping Jehosophat! $150 for a BayIII lens hood? That was a BIN price when I ebayed it. OK, so it was NIB with leather case, but still. For a lens hood? Plus the cheap plastic ones Nick mentioned I found for $17.99. Obviously not worth buying. Well, if I sell my IIIf RD ST I might have a little extra cash...

But, in the meantime, I'll make do with my cobbed up aluminum made-in-Japan round hood that somehow screws onto a BayIII adapter ring. And it actually works.

Ted, you may want to check Koh's camera for Bay III hoods. I have no connection to them, nor have I used them, but have checked them out in the past and they seem to carry quite a bit of odds and ends.

Here's my Rollei Bay III hood. It isn't cosmetically perfect but it's in really nice condition and it came with a case.

The Luigi strap will have to be my next buy. Thanks for the tip here.

Ah, a Maxwell screen. The BEST!

IMO, of course. /ScottGee1

I agree. My Maxwell screen transformed the camera.

cpborello: Thanks for the tip.
