Some of us have lost a lot of sales over this royalty-free stuff. Getty bought out one of the companies that repped me, as sales dropped like a stone they stoped accepting slide or print submissions- not a good combination. At the time I was sitting on a big collection of excellent Nikon Ai glass with no Nikon mount digital body that would meter with it. Did me in- I quit shooting stock, since I couldn't shoot enough non-scenic stuff to make a go of it in royalty-free. Thankfully I got a teaching gig right before this happened and was able to make that into enough of a job or I don't know what I'd be doing now.

Royalty free is a bit of a drag tho for all of us- I see the same images more now than I ever did before- doesn't make sense with so much more to choose from does it?
