Rigid (DR) versus current Summicron and Elmar-M shots

Hi,

I know this has been discussed at length here, however, as much as I search I can't seem to find comparison shots between the rigid or DR Summi of the 60's and the current moderate fast 50's: the Elmar-M and the Summicron.

If anyone has samples or can point me to a page where there are such shots I would be very much obliged.

You know, a picture is worth 1000 words

Happy Eastern to all, Horea

Those of us in the photo business say a picture is worth a $1,000 plus expenses.

I have a elmar 50-M and a rigid cron. My flickr site has a couple of samples of the elmar; do a search for elmar.
I had a current 50, which is a nice lens although a little too sharp and contrasty for my taste. I eventually sold it because I prefer images from older 50's. The rigid is a really nice lens, very sharp and with a medium contrast.

i just checked flickr and it has a Elmar 50-M group with plenty of sample images.

Thanks,

In fact I was looking for side-by-side comparison shots between these fine lenses. I just didn't find any
