Question summilux stops

I recently first "fondled" a 35mm Summilux ASPH. I felt it is a little loose on both end of the range, i.e. beyond 16 and 1.4 marker, there seems to have a 1/10ish extra opening, especially beyond f16, you can see the bald closing further.

is that typical on all lux?

My 50 Cron does the same, so I would assume it's normal.

Sometimes Leica aperture rings can be dodgy. They go a bit past the marked aperture, they're too loose, the detents are marginal. I think the most common problem on the 35/1.4 ASPH is a loose ring. I bought mine used from a professional wedding photographer who pointed out to me that the aperture ring was OK. So far it has stayed OK.
