XA - first pictures developed

I've had the XA since November, but just finally dev'ed some photos; they're hanging to dry right now. First impression is good; the negs look dense enough, and at 24x36mm, all those little details look nice and sharp! The camera is a joy to use, and I will definitely keep it.

But I have a question: How in the hell do you keep your finger/knuckle out of the frame?? Many of my vertical shots (ok, ok, most of my vertical shots) have a digit sticking into the top of the frame. Dammit!

I've considered lopping one off...

but more practically, I end up holding the camera like I was pitching a "knuckleball" in order to keep them tucked away.

A digital XA? AT LAST, A dRF FROM OLYMPUS ... I AM A FULFILLED MAN!!! LEICA EAT OUR DUST!

Seriously, I just had to learn to be careful, develop a different grip.

Great little Olympus XA, I think its lens is worthy of being compared to a 35 leica lens...
It stays in a pocket, it's a rangefinder camera, it's not expansive...

When you slide the camshell dont change the grip keep the fingers on the top plate and the thumb on the base, your right hand needs to be similar, it is worse with a XA4.

Does anyone know how to fix a lens shade (hood) on an XA? And does anyone know how to put a filter on it? I love these little cameras--I have 2--but I need these accesories.
