I love the Fed 2 so much I ended up with two of them. I can't imagine that's too unusual a story in these parts.

Does anyone know, what its engraving says:

Some people simply don't know when they are ahead...

First there was one (Kiev 4A on the left) and now there are two (Kiev IIa on the right)

Don't ask me why...environmental toxins? Latent insanity?

Kiev-4M

Newly arrived Kiev-4M. First image is in combination with a Jupiter-8 from 1955 (Arsenal).
The second is with an unknown lens, something of a mix of a Jupiter-8M and a Helios-103.

Click here to read my recent blog entry.

Recent arrival... From tomorrow on, it's going to join the NEX-5 as take-with-me camera. Not sure yet whether I'll throw in a color or a B/W film.

My first real camera, £21 14s 6d circa 1968. A year or maybe more of saving, in relative terms the most expensive camera I've ever owned.
