Beyond Memory

This looks incredibly intruiging - does anyone here know anything about it?

Only what's given in Amazon's synopsis...SynopsisPhotography possesses a powerful ability to bear witness, aid remembrance, shape, and even alter recollection. Contributors here offer a rigorous examination of the medium's role in late Soviet unofficial art. between the mid-1950s and the late 1980s. ...does indeed look interesting, unfortunately my library shelves are straining under the weight of photographers books. If you get it let us know what you think.

Thanks Simon. I have the same book problem! I can't believe it could be as good as the title. I may have to buy it to find out.

Thumbs up beyond memory

Hello all,

You can check a description of the book at abebooks.com. This site produced fourteen volumes of this book from about as many sellers. Prices range from 26.03 to 91.49 US. Sellers located in the US and the UK and probably elsewhere too. This site is what our local used booksellers refer to for pricing. Just type in the author's last name and the title and find it. The book does look interesting.
