New Argus Forum

Just created is a new Argus forum for perhaps the highest production 35mm rangefinders of all time, the American made Argus. The C-3 was produced for decades, with an estimated production over 3,000,000 cameras! http://www.rangefinderforum.com/foru...splay.php?f=79

Thanks Jorge,

My first RF of nearly 40 years ago was an Argus C-3.
I gave it to my son who was around age 7 in 1970,
and I wish I knew where it was, today.

Ciao, mike

The Argus C3 in the oldest camera that I still use. It is dependable, rugged, inexpensive, and produces decent images.

New Argus Forum

I also had a C3 during World War II in Ithaca, N.Y. and when I sent out some film to be developed, it came back with a phone number inside from a young lady who packed the film for shipment...Those were the days!
