Fuji Natura S and home rolled film?

How does the film winding mechanism work on the Fuji Natura S (not black)? Will it work with bulk loaded film in blank black canisters? Or is it DX coded only?

Or you could create using a silver sharpie your own DX codes

http://www.litratista.org/2005/11/18...film-dx-codes/

but

I think the Natura will still work without DX codes, it will probably default to 100 ISO film and you would have to use the exposure compensation to adjust
