Getting Oly 35rc
Well Backalley convinced me to get an Oly 35rc. Just bought one and should receive it in a few days!
Now to stock up on film.
Novice will hopefully improve but will definitely enjoy!

That was a dandy little camera in its day. I had one - until I moved and the "green card" movers had sticky fingers. I bought mine new in about 1974, and next thing I knew, Pop Photo had a review that really praised it. No reason why a good, clean copy shouldn't still function pretty well.

congrats on your purchase.
i have 3 of them, in fact, one of them is the first 'good' camera i ever bought and that was around 1970. last year i had it cla'd and it's still going strong.
they are a wonderful carry everywhere camera.
wait till you see what that lens can do.
gee, now i want to start carrying one around again...

Doll, I still have the broken Oly 35RC and it feels really nice in my hands - neat and small. I just wish it worked You'll love shooting yours.

Since the 28 feels so good I'm sure the Oly will feel very comfortable.
I was happy to find one so quickly. (Thanks again, Joe!)
I'm thinking of having GHman cover it in something snappy - maybe snakeskin!

Yea!! It's here! I think it's the perfect size and a great looking little camera!
That's something that impresses me about RFF is how supportive and helpful y'all are.
Now for something neat to cover it in to really make it "mine"!
And, of course!, to take pictures!!!

It is in excellant+ condition. I'll replace the seals, just to be safe.
Maybe now, the wife will quit fiddling with my cams.

You'll want to slap a shade on that bad boy, to maximum it's nice lens. It's a great one. You'll love it.

i love the speed of digital, if nothing else.
here is a set up i bought and tried but do not care for.
it works great but not my cup of tea.
it is an adapter from 43.5 to series vi filters and a red filter.
it can take any series vi filter and it's not too deep but acts like a hood, somewhat.
take a look.
